To me this doesnt seem to improve the card so don’t think the change is necessary. Original is just as clear imo

text is about tissue/organs that have only aldose reductase, the exception for Lens is included in brackets in extra, unless there’s something i’m missing? To me both seem to mean the same thing, did anyone misinterpret the original? Minor change though so don’t mind if others want to change the extra

if a change is deemed necessary, i would suggest simply adding an asterisk to lens and including the following in the extra field:
*The lens primarily relies on aldose reductase but has some sorbitol dehydrogenase, which offers partial protection against sorbitol accumulation
I think this is fine
When I first unsuspended this card for studying, it was confusing to have “Aldose Reductase” as a part of the acronym, as the prompt was “The tissues/organs that have…”
I don’t think that keeping the original card + adding the extra text will clarify that point, which is why I made the suggestion to change the wording of the mnemonic.
