I prefer the formatting but this seems like it’s making the cloze deletion harder because the former tells the user definitively that there are two amnions. Why does it need to be harder?
I was just trying to reduce cognitive load since the hint has so much text. To your point, could change to the suggestion to:
{{c1::Di::Mono/Di}}chorionic-diamniotic twins
…but the masochist in me likes {{c1::Di::Mono/Di}}chorionic-{{c1::di::mono/di}}amniotic
