We have a potential solution for this that will be available in the next Anki release.

I tried this and my “use a proxy server” is currently turned off. My “use setup script” is turned on, but I can’t seem to turn this off (it’s a school laptop so I’m not sure if that is part of the problem). Is there anything else that I can try?

Try turning off any firewall/antivirus software or syncing with a different network.
