I thought about doing that, but surgery is indicated is some complicated cases. Better to just specify the specific drug just like it’s mentioned on the other card.
For entamoeba, surgery is generally avoided (AMBOSS) and FA doesn’t mention surgery here. In the end, we need to stay focused on what’s likely to be tested on Step/NBMEs

Well in the same article it does state “but may be indicated for inaccessible abscesses”. I agree this is probably not tested. But still didn’t want to add misleading information. Having metronidazole is a better hint, it’s more accurate and is consistent with information on the other card.
