@abaue34 Thank you for the suggestion. We do ask, and require, that an MCAT-specific source citation be included with any and all content-related suggestions, in order to streamline the process of suggestions and deck maintenance. More information can be found here: AnKing MCAT Deck Submission Guidelines

Please let me know if you have any other questions. :slight_smile:

We have
{{c2::Escape conditioning}} occurs when {{c1::individuals must escape an unpleasant stimulus once it has occured}}
and
{{c2::Avoidance behaviors}} are reinforced by {{c1::the removal of painful/undesirable stimuli as a result of preemptively avoiding them}}.

Although they do exist elsewhere in the deck, whats our philosophy on adding these types of extra sections in terms of interfering with answering these \ individual cards if they happen to fall on the same day?

One of those ‘no super great answer’ things. Anki won’t allow you to avoid some degree of confounding entirely, due to the way it’s built.

I think having some note here is maybe net helpful, though almost certainly could be trimmed. It’s too long, imo, for a little note in the Extra field

Could probably just trim everything after for example and for instance in the suggestion

Yeah, I think these sentences are great examples of where you could squeeze 80% of the value in maybe less than half the space.

Updated/edited the existing phrasing. Might give it a gander, but seems chill

Looks good to me

Would it be more relevant to say that escape and avoidance conditioning are types of negative reinforcement in the extra section rather than saying they are types of operant conditioning which is way more broad.

Probably can’t hurt to elucidate; ‘both are examples of operant conditioning, specifically negative reinforcement’ or similar would cover all our bases without much fuss
