Can we get away with summarizing this and including:
Hill’s coefficient
1: positive cooperative binding
=1: no cooperative binding
<1: negative cooperative binding
Idk what’s going on the site doesnt let me write >1 without formatting it hahah.
or do we want to keep it as tightly related to the positive cooperative binding that the text section is testing. I know we normally try to keep them as closely related as possible I just don’t see too many other opportunities to put this in the deck.
I thought about it, but then how far do we want to expand this particular Extra field? And/or is there a card more directly dealing with cooperativity where we could ostensibly include that info?
Because really this card is about sigmoidal shape, more than Hill’s coefficient, ultimately.
That’s as ideal a candidate as we’re likely to find, in all likelihood
yea that card is good for all 3 i only put this card in here to show positive cooperation cause thats what the card is asking about. I think would be cool in future if there was a feature in anki where we could link people to similar cards if they want more info, like obsidian
I didn’t upgrade to the AnkiHub plan with AI yet. But I think I recall during the trial period that there was a related cards in the deck thing. I might be wrong but I’m almost 100% positive it existed. I assume it’s just automatically generated based on similar phrases/content but it would be interesting if they could also be manually linked in the event the cards we wanted to link were not done automatically. Would be interesting to see if the card with all three Hills criteria show up as related for this card.
I think we can remove the “Hill’s coefficient indicates the degree of cooperativity. Higher means greater cooperativity” and keep the most relevant " A sigmoidal graph indicates positive cooperativity and a Hill coefficient (n) > 1" now that this is in the deck:
ok done
