if we are looking for something to narrow down, im not sure this actually helps because most of the things they are precursors too are also lipids.
Triacylglcyerols and fatty acids can be “precursors” to pretty much anything in the metabolic pathways. Do you have an alternative suggestion for narrowing it down
Maybe “component of cell membrane” but not sure just a really bad card overall.
