Feel like we could just wording to āare the preferred agentā and then youāre good
yeah thatās trueā¦ the hard part is if you give me the hint ānot warfarinā you basically just told me āEliquisā
What if instead of a hint we said:
{{c2::Direct factor Xa inhibitors}} may be used to simplify stroke prophylaxis in patients with {{c1::atrial fibrillation}}
Extra (This extra is copied exactly from nid:1503361365813):
- Oral factor Xa inhibitors have similar efficacy to warfarin but have more rapid onset and do not require bridging therapy or laboratory monitoring
Or if we did a hint maybe āfirst lineā would be better: AMBOSS
agree, āpreferred agentā or āfirst lineā should be enough
Good suggestions. How does that look?
Iād say remove āthat may be usedā
Or just the āpreferred agentā hint.
Iām okay either way
Can we add extra line stating below, it would help explain why First Aid mentions both.
āUnless patient has valvular atrial fibrillation then warfarin is requiredā
Before pushing do you have a good source we could add to this conversation for documentation?
