@Ahmed7 What was the impetus for making this card harder? Most of these seem intuitive if I think “their metabolism is bad”. But is UW/AMBOSS/NBME being more strict about diagnosis criteria? Or like presenting a patient with metabolic syndrome and asking what other findings would be expected and being tricky in their answer choices?
The mnemonic is solid and I support it.
It’s the same reason we transitioned other mnemonics to 1by1. When each close is recalled separately, you lose the bigger picture. So atleast for me, this card is not really useful if I’m ever asked to recall the criteria or use it in a question (I remember 1 step 1 question required you to know this but not necessarily memorized each bit)
I doubt this will reach 15 likes but we’ll see, I just find these types of cards useless without a proper mnemonic and recalling them all at once at the same time
