according to AMBOSS, the main prophylactic use is migraine, however, it can be used as prophylaxis for esophageal variceal bleeding. this hint is a little too strong though so what do y’all think?
I agree that the hint is a little strong. How about ‘are most commonly used for’ or ‘are often used for’? I think if going with the former, we’d need to switch the sentence structure so that it’s clear - i.e. ‘are most commonly used for prophylaxis of migraines’.
