I was confused by this as well, but I later understood that this card (nid:1516558389219) talks about a regular battery, vs the other card (nid:1516558157624) which talks about a button battery

Also we need to add @beejumm’s image to this card as well.
Would be ok calling this alkaline battery or even “standard battery” to make it clear that this isn’t a button battery, agree that it definitely needs some kind of descriptive qualifier
Think I would understand what we’re getting at with standard battery more than alkaline
added standard to it.
Still needs revision for the time, @beejumm’s graph says “if past stomach” then wait 24 to 48 otherwise do urgent endoscopy.

I had a hard time getting all the cards to agree with each other, and getting them all onto a flowchart in a way it all made sense

Does Amboss have a flowchart/table/list that makes this clearer?
Could even add “standard (non-button)”

I think we need a bulk update to these cards, to make them agree with one another.
@beejumm what ever came of this? Did we ever get all our ducks in a row with these cards?
Nope, sadly not
As far as I can tell, the other cards seem to be okay (they specify which battery, i.e. button vs regular)
This card would be okay if this suggestion is accepted to specify it’s referring to a standard (non-button) battery
