@learnankihub Does 401250 ask for a numerical answer or more conceptual extrapolation using the equation?

This one’s an odd bit of both. You definitely have to use the equation q = mcT to calculate a specific variable, but the answer option also asks for the answer in J/K which requires manipulation of the variables on top of the actual tabulation.

At its core, though, you have to know the equation, and be able to use it, to plug in the numbers to start heading the right direction.

A tissue sample at 275 K is submerged in 2 kg of liquid nitrogen at 70 K for cryopreservation. The final temperature of the nitrogen is 75 K. What is the heat capacity of the sample in J/K?
