You might consider keeping the cloze as it is, personally it’s better for me because amboss add-on can recognize (internal ing ring OR deep ing ring BUT not internal (deep) inguinal ring)
Also in the extra field (protrudes through the external) sounds better to me (i am not native so i am not sure)
