@anking-maintainers this has been suggested previously - per FA24, mutations in DNA polymerase would cause resistance to foscarnet (we could clarify that instead of deleting c2?)
I would prefer this over deleting it
@Jwill @Ahmed7 So something like this?
CMV can gain resistance to ganciclovir via mutations in the {{c1::UL-97}} gene or foscarnet via mutations in its {{c2::DNA polymerase}}
Yep, this is what I was thinking ^
there already is such a card see: Sign In
Awesome! Looks like we can just delete this part of the card then without any loss of content in the deck
@AnKing-Maintainers bump - quick google search shows that original is technically true, but the papers discussing this are all from the late 90s. AMBOSS and FA24 don’t mention it. Need thoughts on delete vs. leave as is
I’d lean towards deleting it if it’s not mentioned in FA, AMBOSS, has no tagged UW QIDs, and has no Step 2 tags.
Yeah, removing is probably still the best call for all the reasons DillingerMed mentioned.
Support deleting, otherwise it will just cause confusion. @Ahmed7
Okay with removing
