Support. Multiple suggestions about this
I think we need to address that it’s not so clean cut. If on imagining it is awful lots of gyn oncs will just open and avoid the additional time in the OR and additional cuts on the patient cutting for ports when you know you’re going to open anyway.

According to Amboss, diagnostic laparoscopy is preferred terminology over exploratory laparoscopy.
I agree with @Jwill, this is definitely not as clear cut though. I’m somewhat leaning toward leaving as “exploratory laparotomy” based on the current phrasing in the “extra” field for treatment.
