AMBOSS says 2-4 weeks for mild, so we will need to make a note in Extra about this disparity. I can’t check the cited UW Step 2 QID 15936.

UW Step 2 QID 15936
90% answered correctly and this card is not needed to answer. Explanation does not differentiate between treatment for mild vs. severe acute bacterial prostatitis just states “6 weeks of TMP-SMX or fluoroquinolones”
I am in favor of leaving the cloze as 2-4 weeks because my FM shelf exam had 4 weeks as the answer for this treatment. Also because AMBOSS specifies how treatment is different based on severity of symptoms.

I made the changes I felt needed the original suggestion wanted to change 2-4 weeks in the cloze to 6 weeks.
Empiric antibiotic therapy for mild acute bacterial prostatitis consists of an oral {{c1::fluoroquinolone}} or {{c1::TMP-SMX}} for a duration of {{c2::6 weeks}}
Okay with the change in extra
