There was a discussion on it probably where it was decided that left colon/sigmoid bleed more even though right colon has more diverticulae, iirc?

Yeah I agree the card is okay. I read it as, while the diverticulosis may arise in the lower GI/left colon (i.e., site of origin), the complication that the patient may have would present as rectal bleeding (i.e., their chief concern in the ED might be “bleeding from my rectum”).

I also read it as “bleeding per rectum” not necessarily that it’s the source. So I think it’s fine as is.
