Think we can keep it as curved and add spiral instead of “S” shaped
This is the relevant AMBOSS question: https://next.amboss.com/us/review/yly10dz2jU/3
@anking-maintainers think it is time we update this + remove comments from other cards where we say that comma is reserved for Vibrio. FA has used comma since at least 2020, AMBOSS uses comma as well. Some sources still just used curved/spiral, which is ok as well if people feel strongly about reserving comma for Vibrio
“Curved” rod might be a more inclusive umbrella term for these given that’s what FA24 uses for their gram neg algorithm on pg 139. Think I’d prefer we default to that and give examples like above of other ways to describe them if available (e.g., comma, spiral, S-shaped)
Agree that we should probably move away from reserving comma-shaped for Vibrio though
Can keep text as such, and bring the mentioned point in extra to top
Agree with Sameem, just keep this at the top of extra
added “in question stems” to give readers more of a incentive to retain this info and be aware that all these can be used. lmk if “in question stems” is breaking the 4th wall too much and isn’t necessary
I like it, sometimes feel we’re being too opaque when describing what might show up on the test. Being explicit about this is good
