i have no idea what to do with this, will need some help verifying if this is appropriate
from UTD - “In patients with exertional stable angina, nitrates improve exercise tolerance, time to onset of angina, and ST-segment depression during exercise testing. In combination with beta blockers or calcium channel blockers, nitrates produce greater antianginal and antiischemic effects”…and “Long-acting nitrates are added to beta blockers (with or without calcium channel blockers) to control stable angina. In patients with exertional stable angina, chronic nitrate therapy using oral or dermal preparations improves exercise tolerance, time to onset of angina, and ST-segment depression during exercise testing. In combination with beta blockers or calcium channel blockers, nitrates produce greater antianginal and antiischemic effects compared with those drugs without nitrates. However, the long-term utility of nitrates is limited by the induction of nitrate tolerance” - UpToDate
i say we go “Nitrates are often combined with {{c1::β-blockers}} ± {{c1::CCBs}} to help prevent reflex {{c2::sympathetic}} activation”…then in extras just put CCB = calcium channel blockers, to keep the text from getting long and clunky
