Ankihub not recognizing existing step deck and instead syncing with a newly made duplicate

Hello, this week my main PC died (which had ankihub syncing and where I mainly managed my deck). This left me with no choice but to download the ankihub addon my my laptop and attempt to keep things syncronized. It recognized my bluelink deck but will not recognize my step deck and instead downloaded a new one and is syncing with the new one.

Thank you for any advice.

Hello,

This can be adjusted by taking the following steps:

From your top menu bar, click on Ankihub, then Deck Management:

From the resulting screen, click on the Anking Step Deck and look on the bottom-right hand corner of the window:

Here you should have listed the destination for the deck. You can change this to wherever you would like the resulting destination to be, which is where Ankihub will locate that deck going forward.

Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.

Thank you! Is it safe to delete the duplicate deck now that I have made this change?

I would make sure to move out any cards that might be parked in that deck, but otherwise as long as it’s empty it’s safe to delete.
