Hey everyone, I have been preparing for the Salesforce Agentforce Specialist certification and decided to build a custom Anki deck around it. I wanted to share my approach and ask if anyone else is doing the same because I think there is a real gap in publicly available decks for this exam.
The Agentforce Specialist exam is heavily scenario-based. It is not the kind of exam where you can memorise a glossary and pass. The questions put you in a real-world situation, usually something like an insurance company or enterprise environment, and ask you to choose the right integration pattern, the right automation approach, or the right security configuration for that specific context. That makes it a great candidate for Anki because you can build cards that force you to reason through scenarios rather than just recall definitions.
Here is the card structure I have been using. On the front of the card I write a scenario, something like βAn external HR system needs to push agent onboarding data into Salesforce in real time. The Salesforce org should not initiate the request. What is the correct integration approach?β On the back I write the pattern (custom Apex REST API exposed on the Salesforce side), the reason it fits, and what the wrong options would be and why. That last part is important because the exam often has two answers that both sound plausible and knowing why one is wrong is what separates a pass from a fail.
The five main areas I am building cards around are integration patterns (request and reply, batch synchronization, event-driven, API-led), Platform Events and Change Data Capture, security in integrations (named credentials, OAuth flows, connected apps), Agentforce configuration and agent management, and troubleshooting scenarios.
I have also been using DumpsMate alongside my deck to make sure my scenario thinking actually holds up against exam-style questions. Their Agentforce Specialist practice set is built around use cases rather than definitions which matches well with the Anki approach. A few questions for anyone else preparing for this exam. How are you structuring your cards for scenario-based topics? Are you writing the full scenario on the front or just a keyword prompt? And has anyone found good source material for the integration patterns section specifically? The official Salesforce documentation is solid but very long and I am trying to distill it into card-friendly chunks.
Would love to compare notes if anyone is at a similar stage in their prep.
