You should not lose your scheduling. But if you do, you can go back to a backup version.
Yes, there are now a larger number of cards after a recent update. Most of the cards are based on content from Cuccurullo, which is regarded as the best study resource. It may not be attainable to study every card, so I would focus on things that you don’t know.
I appreciate the work everyone has been doing on the deck, it’s awesome and love the idea. However after the new update putting it at 30k cards its just way too much for a PMR deck. While yes it likely is more comprehensive now, that doesn’t matter if you can’t even get to those cards which opens possibilities to missing entire concepts. The solution of having to hunt for sub decks/suspend cards and only doing ones “you don’t know” is also not really practical. No reason this deck should be nearing the size of the step 1&2 decks.
Hi there. Thanks for your feedback. We hear what you’re saying; however, we have to disagree. PM&R is a 3-4 year residency, with fellowships requiring an additional 1-2 years of training. Most students take Step 1 after only two years of medical school, & they take Step 2 about a year after that. Further, this deck is meant not just for residents but also for medical students who have less exposure to this content. The deck is organized into different subjects & resources, plus there is a search bar for users to type in keywords to make searching for content easy.
To be transparent, there is some redundancy with the new addition, which we will improve. We expect this will only cut back on a couple hundred to a couple thousand cards.
We do appreciate the feedback & we will consider it as we get other feedback & look for ways to improve.
