Getting Started!

Just to reiterate, this a shared “google drive” deck that allows us all to add cards that cover any testable material. Cards are organized by modules > threads > specific lectures/activities. You will need a laundry list of add-ons (see Cade’s post in GroupMe). And you’ll need to be comfortable with Anki, which will come with time!

When you’re making cards, it might be best to go through (a copy of) the slides and delete information as you enter it into the Anki deck. Feel free to use phase I alumni’s cards (notes) where applicable. Try not to use 3rd party board cards in case people want to learn those separately (if you don’t know what I mean, by that feel free to ask). Then, when you’re studying, you can toggle suspend (ctrl + J) the cards that you personally want/need to study. Obviously, you don’t need to put EVERYTHING from lecture into the deck, just the testable material.

This is going to be amazing guys! Hopefully with a handful of people working on it instead of each of us individually, it’ll make our med school lives bearable.
