I’m having trouble getting this deck to my anki on a Mac. I paid the $6 for the month but cannot find the deck. When I browse decks on the ankihub add-on, it doesnt come up. Thanks.
Try subscribing to it here: Sign In
Then follow this tutorial to get it installed (this tutorial is for the AnKing step deck but its the same for any deck): Subscribe/Install Step Deck (New User)

Hi Ahmed, we have had a lot of users having issues with images appearing broken on their local apps. We are uploading .png images (these are images saved to our desktop then copied onto a card) that are changed to .webp by ankihub. I am wondering if the conversion to .webp is causing the break. This is not a consistent issue, sometimes images will upload successfully and other times not without a clear reason to the difference.
Thanks for all your work.
Hello,
The conversion is done on all images and should be fine. Where are the images coming from?
There is sometimes a bug where dragging an image and adding it doesn’t work, what we do is screenshot that image then add the screenshot and suggest it. That usually fixes it.
Try that and see if it works.
Some other questions
- For the image(s) that are not showing up, can everyone not see them or only a select few?
- Have they tried resetting local changes?
- Does the issue persist even after screenshotting that image and suggesting it and accepting it?
- A final thing they can try is unsubscribing from the deck in the AnkiHub addon → deck management → select AnKore → unsubscribe. Then go to AnkiHub, resubscribe to the deck, click sync in Anki. That will retrigger a fresh download
I think you pinpointed the issue with dragging. A lot of our images are added by dragging from folders because we suggested saving the images first. So instead, you recommend taking a screenshot then simply pasting it into anki? What about using the attach function in anki does that usually work?
To the rest of the questions, some images were broken for all users and some were only broken for some. And yes even when users do all those steps they remain broken.
Yes, either this or trying Ctrl + C and then Ctrl + V the image. This is what I usually do and I don’t have any issues. However, Wikimedia commons is the biggest culprit of this problem (their images sometimes just don’t work unless you screenshot).
I’ve never tried the attach image function or dragging previously, only the above so I can only attest to those.
If its broken for all and not the uploader of the image, then its one of those weird bugs with dragging/dropping or certain image formats
If its broken for some, do they see an invisible border around the image? or do they see the missing image icon? For the former, this is a rare bug that occurs, the latter means they will need to try resetting local changes or resubscribing (its more of a case by case basis for this situation)
Pardon me if this has already been asked, but is there a way to make the attached relevant core radiology page automatically open for every answered card instead of manually toggling it open every time?
I think unfortunately you would need to modify the card’s template. Specifically, you’ll need to adjust the “Front Template” or “Back Template” section, depending on where the additional resource is displayed, to ensure it’s visible when the card is flipped. You’ll likely need to change a “hide” or “display: none” CSS property to “display: block” or remove the property altogether for the relevant HTML element representing the additional resource. Since we made the card template I assume that you can’t edit it on your end. I’m not sure if that would mess the template up for other users also. Anyone else have input?
Hi, I subscribed recently. At first, it was missing two chapters so i deleted and I unsubscribed then resubscribed. But now it only contains 300 cards. any help?
Hello everyone!
I have recently downloaded the deck and imported the media folder. However, many of the images within the cards are broken. Any idea how I can fix this issue?
Thanks in advance.
Hello sorry for bothering again. However I am studying the thoracic imaging chapter and the issue persists. Can anyone please help in fixing the broken images?
Thanks in advance.
For example, I am trying to study image (Card ID 1759670325390, Note ID 1627616583946).
The image in the front template is broken. From the underlying code, it says img src=“19b155b23fd40c1c2b16f9d144203604.webp”, however I couldnt find this image in the media folder, which explains why the image is broken.
Any help?
Best regards.
Hi, the media folder needs to be updated. The deck is updated so frequently that the best way is just to use the ankihub software to directly download the deck.
Hi, and thank you for all the effort that went intonthis deck already.
I wanted to ask if I have your ok to start adding cards from Crack the Core that don’t overlap the main Core info.
Also, there are some parts of CtC that go over Core material and do an infinitely better job at explaining the concepts or helping you retain the info (i.e. CRAZY-P acronym for crazy paving). What should we do in these instances?
Hi. Thank you for all the effort.
I have tried several times to sync the d deck but it only shows 64 cards. I have tried different things including deleting and subscribing again and changing profiles. But nothing worked. Need help!
Hello @alirezamohseni030
Can you try resetting local changes for the deck? → Resetting Local Changes
@Ahmed7 It worked. Thank you!
