[Wiki] Captain Hook MCAT Deck by CaptainHook_MCAT

Welcome to the Captain Hook MCAT Deck Wiki!

Hi Future Dr!

This deck is a highly comprehensive MCAT deck I initially built during my own prep to help me deeply learn the material efficiently and confidently. I’m sharing it on AnkiHub so the deck can become an evolving project shaped by community feedback and collaboration!

If you notice an error, please submit a suggestion so the whole community can benefit! And if you have bigger ideas or want some guidance along the way, I’d love to hear from you at duelecture@gmail.com : )

Please note: the free version of the deck (that does not receive updates) is available here

:anchor: About Me and the Captain Hook Deck!

I wrote the MCAT in August 2025 and I wound up scoring a 521 (130/130/131/130). Over my 3.5-month study period, I built and learned this deck by overhauling and reorganizing the Jack Sparrow deck from the ground up. Since then, I’ve continued refining it to make reviews faster, clearer, and more accurate.

The full Jack Sparrow content is preserved to maintain depth and coverage, but it’s been restructured for clarity and efficiency. The deck currently contains 7,002 cards.

:date: Recommended timeline: I’d ideally allow ~4 months to work through this deck thoroughly, although it can definitely been done faster!

What’s New & Improved

  • :brain: Information rewritten to be concise, clear, and high-yield
  • :scissors: Long paragraphs removed and broken down for faster reviews
  • :hammer_and_wrench: Errors and inconsistencies from the original deck corrected
  • :artist_palette: Color-coding, highlights, and bullet-style formatting to emphasize key concepts
  • :movie_camera: Embedded Khan Academy & YouTube links for quick concept clarification
  • :triangular_ruler: A dedicated Essential Equations deck, including both low- and high-yield formulas

I hope this deck helps make your MCAT grind a little smoother (and faster). Happy studying!
