Seems like Amboss https://next.amboss.com/us/article/kO0msT?q=distributive%20shock#gkcFMc0
UW table (e.g., 4237)
And FA p317 agree
I unknowingly made the same suggestion, I recommend this change occurs, as it is supported by amboss (see my own suggestion for this same card)
WOULD NOT CHANGE THIS WAY - would rather adjust wording of the question! This card is more focused on sepsis/anaphylaxis since it gives those examples, and nid:1667266651321 separately goes over neurogenic
Maybe:
How do septic and anaphalactic shock affect the following?
CVP: {{c1::decreased}}
PCWP: {{c1::normal or decreased::2}}
Cardiac index: {{c1::decreased or increased::2}}
SVR: {{c1::decreased}}
SvO2: {{c1::increased}}
Updated
@AnKing-Maintainers let’s update this card. Do you agree with the updated suggestion @herstein.jacob?
Support the wording of septic/anaphylactic, but in that case the answer should only be increased I think (decreased is specific to neurogenic)
Kinda annoying but cardiac output is increased in early septic shock and then decreased in late septic shock. Had a UW question on this recently but specific early being increased.

We could change to
How does early distributive shock (specifically sepsis & anaphylaxis) affect the following?
CVP: {{c1::decreased}}
PCWP: {{c1::normal or decreased::2}}
Cardiac index: {{c1::increased*}}
SVR: {{c1::decreased}}
SvO2: {{c1::increased}}
With early being underlined + bold.
Then have asterisk explain that it’s increased early, but decreased during later stages of shock.
I think:
Agreed, driving home from hospital I had this same thought.
Originally tried to go with less of a change to text, but that’s not better in this case.
Suggestion has been updated
@AnKing-Maintainers
Added explanation of changes
Let’s vote and double/triple check everything.
Can we move the asterisk to the end (between the explanations and the change of content notice?
Looks like we’re good to push now
