To be as concise as possible, something like this might work for the extra section: “Introns are removed during mRNA splicing, leaving only exons. Since cDNA is synthesized from mRNA, it contains only exons.”

Support from Kaplan Biochemistry Chapter 6.5 for this suggestion just to be thorough:
“cDNA (complementary DNA) is formed from a processed mRNA strand. cDNA is used in DNA libraries and contains only the exons of genes that are transcriptionally active in the sample tissue.”

@kevinpanini any opinion on this one/good to push? Also @Brian_BH I plugged in the UWorld question ID into UWorld and nothing comes up could it have been deleted/changed since the tag was added to the card?
It came up fine for me when I just tested it now (searching for it via QID through the addon).
Also not relevant, but man that tag must be ollld. I don’t show a record of it as having been added since Ankihub was live. Which is wild
Sorry I mean there’s no related question in the UWorld Bank for that Qid anymore it seems. which might make sense given how old it is lol
Oh, no telling. Given how long ago that tag was added, could be the question itself is gone, or the numbering changed, or a hundred things
If it’s not recorded as having been added in Ankihub that means it’s at least 2.5-3 years old, or something like that
I’ll remove it and look out for any questions that fit the card while I work through UWorld. I looked through my previous completed questions and didn’t find one.
I feel like I remember hearing that UWorld did something to their QID system a long while back. It wasn’t relevant to me at the time so I don’t recall the details, but very possible they’ve either culled some questions and/or reassigned QID’s in one way or another
