Support - makes it easier to go through card, rather than all cloze deletions at once; @Ahmed7 I tested the one by one with “Yes” and “Y” each on this card within my own Anki before merging but 1by1 doesn’t seem to work; seems to have something to do with it being a Pankow card
Interesting. Below is what I see. I can trial run it & edit the suggestion to include “y” in the 1by1 field, since that seems to be what specifically does the trick. I can check my Anki a couple days from now to see if it worked out.
Click on the little “back side only” button and try
Do you have the anking note types addon installed?
No; I just installed it & updated notetypes. Still isn’t working but I do see one of the tabs labeled “IO-one by one” - should I import this?
Yes try that, not sure why it isnt working it should be
I clicked import & below is what it shows; I tried 1by1 with the card again & it doesn’t work. 1by1 has worked on other AnKing deck cards, but not the one that we have carried over from the Pankow deck for some reason. I know you said to click “backside only” earlier &, for me, it still shows the answers; how does it look like on your end when you do that?
Sorry to drag this on @Ahmed7. I’m thinking it could be a difference in fields. What fields do you have on this card? I’m sure yours has One by one, but just wanted to see if you have more than 3 fields (I have Text, Extra & One by one); if you have all the usual fields in AnKing MCAT cards, maybe it has to do with how my cards’ fields are aligning in the deck
Ah, it must have something to do with the settings on my AnKing Note Types add-on. Ever since I recently added the standalone Pankow deck to my Anki profile, it seems to have changed up the # of fields - it’s only the “Behavioral” cards that don’t have all the fields like you do, sometimes just “Text” and “Extra.” I might just start up a new profile & see if it does the trick
