Should we change this from a ‘y’ in the one-by-one field to a ‘2’?
It would fix the issue
Yes, let’s try it
But we’re leaving the last one as a c2 right? Not a c3
For future users
- Please make sure you have the Anking note types addon downloaded
- Go to anking note types
- Go to Ankingoverhaul
- Tick selective 1by1
- Click save
@Ahmed7 is this working for you?
It doesn’t seem to be working for me
cloze 2 works fine, just like a regular 1b1 should work
cloze 1’s card jumps direct to the answer side, with the answer shown
We haven’t accepted it yet
You’re right, the second cloze works but the first one opens automatically
@TheAnKing can you confirm if we’re doing everything correctly?
We only want close 2 to be 1by1
Checking now after accepting it
Cloze 1 shows up without pressing anything, not even pressing space bar
Cloze 1 without pressing anything
Cloze 2 works as intended with 1by1
Cloze 2
Do you have this setting on? It’s working for me
We might need to have @abdo.nh change the script so it ignores that setting for certain scenerios like this.
I can see how if you want c1 to be a normal cloze, you wouldn’t want automatic flipping, but if c2s are going to be one by one, then you may want the automatic flipping.
Yes I have that setting on, I think ignoring it for situations like this would be useful
@abdo.nh could we change the note type script so it will ignore if that setting is on for these situations?
Ah my bad, I forgot to mention I tested it locally
Yeah, we’ll need to have it switch automatically for the back for only the close number mentioned in the 1b1 field, and not switch for any clozes not mentioned
Will have a look.
Just released an update to the notetypes add-on with a fix.
