@Michael_B similar here, in that I haven’t the foggiest how to approach this.

We have an in-house illustrator who can help out here. But before pinging him to this discussion, we wanna have a solid idea of what the desired illustration contains so that we can pass it onto him.

@caffeinatednurse Could you share what you are hoping to have in an image that would help out with understanding on this note?

I feel like an image similar to this is what the concept is pointing at. My gut instinct.

Wow, that’d actually be perfect. What source did you pull it from? Usually, anything that can be accessed via OpenStax, Lumen Learning or Wikimedia Commons are good to go

That image I found on a page that has relevant citing information listed at the bottom: Isoelectric point @ Chemistry Dictionary & Glossary

Alternately, figure 25.3.1 from libretexts (which is free to copy and redistribute under a creativecommons license) is roughly similar and would be serviceable: 25.3: Isoelectric Points and Electrophoresis - Chemistry LibreTexts

This is totally irrelevant, but: does my display name show up as bbh001? Or is it my name? On my end it shows up as ‘bbh001’ which is irritating me, but uncertain if I can change it or what it is displaying as.

Yup, it does show up as “bbh001.” I also had a change of username earlier but can’t seem to find who it was that did the adjustment or how to go about it. @Ahmed7 Would you happen to know?

We can definitely use LibreTexts. I do really like the more aesthetic formatting & labelling in the original image but based on the copyright text listed at the bottom of the site, doesn’t seem like we can use it. We can wait for caffeinatednurse’s response & from there, see if we’ll need our in-house illustrator

If it’s helpful, there is also this:

From OpenStax: 26.2 Amino Acids and the Henderson–Hasselbalch Equation: Isoelectric Points - Organic Chemistry | OpenStax

You can go to ankihub → settings → change your username there

If it doesn’t change it in the community then you can edit it here as well

Ah, amazing thank you. That did the trick.

I think I had tried the via community.ankihub preferences page and I wasn’t getting anywhere. I was convinced I was missing something. Thank you again.
