The cloze can be answered with a few other possible answers (effusion, respiratory failure, sepsis)
The definition helps narrow it down for me

Makes sense. Wonder if there is some other hint we could use to narrow besides definition?
Maybe “::pleural”? Think it should stay as is unless we can find a better hint. Too ambiguous otherwise imo
personally i like the card the way it is, helped me learn the definition of empyema as well
