are the other conditions tested? are there any qids that specifically test this concept for transposition, pulm atresia?
Ah comon forget that other conditions are tested or not. The original card is factually wrong. Even at a common sense level when you have awareness of other conditions (e.g. how’s a neonate with transposition going to survive cutting the umbilical cord?)

There are two key elements here; “may cause” and “after closure”. This question is likely only possible for coarctation of aorta. For example in case of PDA closure in case of TPA, patient would straight up die, since no oxygen will reach into systemic circulation at all. That said, in those cases, since pre-ductal %O² is low, PDA won’t close in majority of cases.
That is my understanding so far.
I’ll still leave it to M1 and M2 since they are fresh with embryology.
