There are other cards that already test this w/ Cryptosporidium, maybe we can edit question to ask “Which AIDS opportunistic bacterial infection stains acid-fast?”?
@Ahmed7 @Cameron @thomas.holmes @Sameem @zarathustra @Eli.Tanenbaum @shmuelsash @Jwill - don’t think any change is really needed here, but would be fine with what @Cameron suggested
Agree, should update extra section to highlight that cryptosporidium is a parasite - if changing as suggested by @Cameron
agree with CTE’s suggestion as well
I’m fine with either option, though I’d lean towards having both acid-fast staining AIDS opportunistic infections tested on the same card
Agree wit CTE given most questions I’ve ran into require knowing infectious category (bacteria/virus/parasite) I think it’ll make for better/faster recall
The more I look at this the more I think it should just be both in one card. Card looks weird with “bacterial” jammed in there
[[had a whole thing here about cryptosporidium not be an opportunistic infxn but AMBOSS has that information hidden in clinician mode so nvm]]
But, we currently have at least 3 cards that already cover cryptosporidium staining acid-fast + the extra of this one so I really think we should find a way to keep it specific to MAC

Think the card is fine as is. Okay with adding bacterial as @Cameron has suggested.
Love the new card
