Anki Amboss add-on issue (8/21/24)

As of today the Anki Amboss add-on has been having issues (definitions either are not loading or are lagging/delayed). I’ve tried updating the Amboss add-on, toggling it on/off, restarting Anki, restarting my device - none of which has worked. I keep getting the ‘couldn’t connect to Amboss’ pop-up.

I suspect this is an issue on Amboss’ end, but just wanted to post this and see if others have been having the same issue. And if the Anki team might have any suggestions for a fix?
