Anki quits unexpectedly every time i hit the browse option... nothing seems to solve the problem. i need help please

I have been experiencing this problem since subscribing to ankihub. Every time I hit the browse button, the app quits unexpectedly. I have already tried deleting and re-downloading Anki app, I have checked for updates, add-ons, my mac’s version and nothing seems to solve the problem. Please if anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

Can you hold shift while starting Anki and then go to tools-> addons and toggle AnkiHub off? Then restart. Does it still occur?

If you still have this problem try using the Reset Window Sizes option under Tools > Preferences.
