Video Resources

★ Step 2 Bootcamp Tags: Brand new Step 2 bootcamp tags are regularly being added. Huge thanks to the Bootcamp team!

Sketchy & Pixorize

★ Sketchy: Brand new review cards and updated review cards added in the Sketchy fields for various videos (thanks to @victoriamarino)

Other

★ Tag Tree Clean Up: The following changes will be made to the tag tree, you may have noticed a huge number of “notes updated” when you synced with AnkiHub, but these are tag tree changes for the most part

• Moved %AnKingNoteTypes tag to #AK_Other
• Deleted “Step1decks” and “Step2decks” tag as they are duplicates of another tag that we are keeping. The tags that are being kept are “#AK_Original_Decks”. This tag will be moved to #AK_Other to clean up the tag tree
• Moved “!AK_UpdateTags” to “#AK_Other” to clean up tag tree

★ Illustration Tags: Tons of new tags added for Ahmed Afifi’s illustrations to further categorize them into subject specific and illustrator specific tags. They can be found in #AK_Other (thanks to @Anas_10)

NBME Tagging Help

We’re looking for volunteers to help tag NBME forms to make studying more efficient for everyone. If you’re interested in contributing, please reach out to ahmed@ankihub.net

Duplicate Removals

Some duplicates have been removed to reduce card burden. You can delete these cards as they will be tagged with tag:AnkiHub_Deleted. Thank you to @jwill!

Mnemonic Card

New mnemonic card added for the NEXUS mnemonic card. If there are any mnemonics that you feel require a separate mnemonic card, please let us know! (thanks to @andrewmathias8)

I’m an avid Anki user and have been creating personalized decks throughout my UWorld blocks and CMS forms, so I’m very familiar with the workflow of tagging and organizing content for efficient studying.

Could you please share more details about how I can get involved with the NBME tagging project? Additionally, I’d love to know if there are other areas within AnkiHub -such as the card banking team - where I could contribute. I’m enthusiastic about helping improve the study experience for others in the community.

Regarding smart search, we rolled out the new smart tag search features. However, for the accuracy, it has been improved since last time. Have you noticed any improvements? Is there any feedback you’d like to relay to the team regarding smart search?

Hello, I subscribed to your deck yesterday, but today I synced with AnkiHub and the deck wasn’t uploaded to Anki. It seems that it considered the package empty. What’s the solution? I paid $6 for nothing. Please clarify the problem.

Good morning, as you can see when I synced with ankihub the anking step deck appeared but without any card, so I went to the browser and there were no cards from the deck I subscribed to, and there was no tag #AK_step2_v12 or any other tag, I hope you solve the problem for me, and thank you

The deck updates automatically each time that you sync.

Gotcha, thanks for that context.

In the image you shared, I don’t see your tags. They should be at the bottom of your screen and you may have to scroll down a bit; it should be a bit below the frame you shared in the image above.

Specifically, you’re looking for this:

It is normal for the deck to install and for cards to not immediately appear, as this is by design so that you can unsuspend cards as you go and as you want to study them. This tutorial can walk you through the basics of getting started: How to Get Started Studying

Give that a shot, let me know how you fare, and we’ll go from there and hopefully we can get you squared away.

Should we see the AnkiHub_Deleted tag after we sync? Or would those notes have been removed?

I do not see the tag and cannot find it searching. I have 28,666 notes in the deck. Just want to make sure to remove any you all have identified as duplicates.

I see. I thought there was going to be a big update when you said by the next 1-2 months. I’ll try the accuracy test, but I think I did try it a few weeks ago. It felt the same as before tbh. Also, is there any chance to increase the page limit? 50 pages might not be enough for many of us.

This depends on your AnkiHub settings configurations, if you have not unsuspended that card before, it may be deleted. See this setting below

I am writing with a suggestion that I don’t think makes sense to do via the suggestions tutorial on specific cards… I was wondering if you could add tags and go along with Ninja Nerd videos, too? I think they have supplemented a lot of my medical education and it would be awesome if there were cards sorted that aligned with his content, too (:
