Automatic formatting feature requests

When pasting on the webapp, all formatting is kept unless user specifically pastes without formatting (see images below). I propose stripping all formatting when pasting so that we don’t end up with weird formatting in suggestions.

I don’t know if this is possible but is there a way to have suggestion formats be corrected automatically? For example, the suggestion below has some weird formatting or the addition of " " that causes formatting errors. Is there a way to have things that are never in any of the cards automatically removed when the suggestion is submitted? Text [image] Markdown [image]

Perhaps this can be included in some sort of system that checks formatting in general to make sure the card still abides by our formatting guidelines (such as checks spelling, removes   (non breaking space), and maybe even things like no dashes if there’s only 1 sentence in the extra)?

Feature Request: Changing Font & Highlight Color Using Settings on AnkiHub Web App

As a maintainer, if I edit a suggestion, it will sometimes turn out to be whited-out or highlighted in white for one reason or another. Right now, I do trial and error with going into the code & taking out what is coding for the white highlight. Reverting via settings make things much more efficient. It would be great if this feature could be applied to all sections of a card involving text (e.g., “Text,” “Extra,” “Additional Resources,” etc)

@shmuelsash As a temporary fix, until this is added to AnkiHub, I would suggest that to ‘paste without formatting’ to use Ctrl+Shift+V instead of Ctrl+V
I think it works on a lot of applications, I could be wrong tho
