Brows search - problem

When i try to search for a specific card (in the “AnKing deck”) i always see the additional field (and not the Text field)

so for example - (In the picture apploaded)

I tried to search for “SIAD” - and it showd me the 'reference of the Sketchi picture (which also written SIAD) and not the Text field

This makes my “Brows search” very uneffective :frowning:

can i search only in the “Text field” ? if yes, then how?

use this search term to limit to a certain field, in this case text field:

text:*SIAD*

  • finds notes with Text field containing SIAD somewhere

you might find the “BetterSearch” addon helpful as it provides all anki search features in an easy to use graphical interface.

There is a way in the “fields” portion of the note type screen to exclude fields from search on newer versions of Anki
