I’ve been having trouble scanning through cards because when I search a phrase, it matches cards that are irrelevant but has those words elsewhere in the card like the “Extra”, “Lecture Notes”, “Sketchy” sections. Is there a way I can limit my search to only include matches in the main text area. Please see attached photos for example. The one card is relevant whereas the other just mentions the phrase in a different section. Thanks

I appreciate the link. I looked through that last night before I submitted my request, as I was unable to figure out how to apply that search guidance to my scenario. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.
I was able to figure it out using the Text*____* method. Is there any possible way I can save those search settings as the default for future searches or will it have to be typed out each search? Best, Rob
You can either save it by right-clicking on the “Saveed Searches” item in the sidebar or setting it as the default in Tools > Preferences > Editing > Default search text
