Can't bulk suggest IO cards to my deck but suggesting them one by one works

edit: when the error happens i get the native anki error dialogue not the one included in the addon. that’s why this report doesn’t conform to your bug report template.

as the title says i am trying to bulk suggest ~750 IO cards to my deck but i get this error:

tried suggesting a single IO card and it works fine. shows up as a suggestion on the web app.
Unfortunately, it is not feasible to suggest 750 cards one by one.

the deck i am trying to upload to is Deck details (ankihub.net)

it already has an IO notetype associated with it

Steps i did to troubleshoot:

  • Restart Anki
  • Check database
  • Check media
  • Sync ankihub
