Can you please provide more information on what you did before this occurred?

Please note we are recommending version 2.1.64 as this is the most stable Anki version we have tested.

the addon was not launching correctly so i reinstalled the addon and this popped up

Can you try closing out of anki completely and relaunching?

If that doesn’t solve it then try restarting your laptop/computer.

If not then delete the addon and reinstall, if it still persists then please try downgrading to Anki version 2.1.64 as this is the version we are recommending

i did all of that as well as deleted anki and reinstalled again still hasn’t worked

Is this still persisting with version 2.1.64 QT5? You can check what version you are running by going to top left → Anki → about (version 2.1.64 QT5 is more stable)

i was using 2.1.64 QT6, but QT5 does not even launch for me now

Alright, I will notify the developers of your issue.

Please note that we will get back to you when we have a solution to your issue.

Thank you for your patience! :slightly_smiling_face:
