Error on Sync + AnKing Note Type

I get an error message when pressing the sync button on the dashboard, and when opening Anki.
This is very likely the result of me renaming and changing fields in the AnKing Overhaul (mydeck / hedgehodge) note type (through the tools → manage note types → fields) that was created when I made my own deck on AnkiHub.
After pressing save and syncing again, the note seems to have gone back to normal (and seems so in the browser), but in the reviewer my cards end up looking like this:

…Where there is nothing in any of those fields.

All my addons are up to date and I do not receive the error when starting Anki in safe mode

Have you tried deleting and redownloading the anking note types addon?

I have deleted and reinstalled the AnKing Note Types addon and unfortunately the error appears in the same way.

My guess is that it’s because you changed your note type. I’d recommend changing it back if possible. I’ll have one of our developers look at this

Would a viable option be for me to change all the card’s note types from AnKingOverhaul (mydeck / hedgehodge) to AnKingOverhaul (AnKing / AnKingMed)?

Is this for the main AnKing deck? If so that’d probably work

If this is for your own created deck it probably wouldn’t

Yes, it is for my own AnkiHub deck. Would it be worth deleting and re-installing the AnkiHub addon?

I have deleted and reinstalled the AnkiHub addon. Reinstalling the AnKing deck was fine. Reinstalling my own deck bought back the error.

Also, I cannot submit change note suggestions - e.g. from a normal cloze note to my AnKing note type, but it seems I can edit the content of existing cards fine.

Try changing your notes to some other note type. Then delete your note type that you messed with. Then resubscribe to the deck

I changed all the notes to a normal cloze card (lucky I did not use the multiple extra fields much) and deleted my note type. I synced and resubscribed to the deck to no avail. So, since noone else was subscribed to the deck anyway, I just deleted the deck from the ankihub website, removed all subdeck tags, deleted the ankihub addon and restarted. Then I changed the notetype back to the official AnKing note type. The problem is definitely fixed, albeit using the metaphorical nuclear option.
