Renaming Fields in Anking Overhaul Note Type

I wanted to rename the fields which I don’t use, but have protected to something that I use, I found a post where it seems that renaming causes sync issues, so I just want to confirm before doing so.

I have protected a lot of the fields which are not being updated by the team such as FA, Pixorize, Picmonic & some others which I don’t use like Bootcamp, OME etc.
So, I was wondering if I can rename those & make those fields useful to me.

Error on Sync + AnKing Note Type

I get an error message when pressing the sync button on the dashboard, and when opening Anki. This is very likely the result of me renaming and changing fields in the AnKing Overhaul (mydeck / hedgehodge) note type (through the tools → manage note types → fields) that was created when I made my own deck on AnkiHub. After pressing save and syncing again, the note seems to have gone back to normal (and seems so in the browser), but in the reviewer my cards end up looking like this: [image] …W…

You can’t rename them at the moment. I would suggest just using them for a different topic based on what you want, but don’t rename them. It will cause syncing issues
