I am trying to sync to get the AnKing Images added to my deck. My Extra field is unprotected on Ankihub. When I sync the images do not appear. What is the issue?

Is this your first time installing? If so it might take an hour to get all the extra images installed
If not, try this:
Please try resetting your local changes. To do this:
Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes
This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields

No I’ve been using v12 for a while now. I have to text and FA fields protected becuase I’ve changed some cards slightly and added different colors. This won’t change those fields if they’re protected?
If you protected them, they won’t be affected

Can I ask on other questions? My Anking overhaul deck says I have 32,497 cards, on ankihub it says 28,731 notes. Why the discrepancy?
