I want to retrieve an optional tag that I had deleted. Is there a way to reverse my deletion? Thanks

Unfortunately, that is not possible. Once they are deleted, they’re gone forever

I see. Does the option to “reset an optional tag group” not restore the tags deleted? I am trying to recover a group of tags that some classmates have compiled. I am hesitant to proceed with this option since it says it will sync all Ankihub decks. Does this mean that it will affect others who are using the tags?
If you deleted the optional tags locally, then yes, you can restore them by resetting changes to optional tagg group
Resetting local changes will not affect anyone else, just your Anki
It’s the same thing with reset local changes to deck (its used if for example you accidentally deleted a card and want to restore it or you made some local changes to cards and you want to restore it)
