Based on your error message, it looks like you’re experiencing an issue with the colorama module in Anki. This appears to be an add-on conflict rather than an issue specifically related to AnkiHub.

Troubleshooting Steps

Since you have multiple add-ons installed, it’s likely that one of them is causing a conflict. Here’s how to resolve this:

1. Start Anki in Safe Mode

This is the most efficient way to identify if an add-on is causing the problem:

  1. Close Anki completely
  2. Restart Anki while holding down the Shift key
  3. This will start Anki without loading any add-ons

If Anki starts without the error in safe mode, then one of your add-ons is definitely the culprit.

2. Identify the Problematic Add-on

If safe mode fixed the issue, you’ll need to find which add-on is causing problems:

  1. Close Anki again
  2. Restart normally (without holding shift)
  3. Go to ToolsAdd-ons
  4. Disable approximately half of your add-ons by selecting them and clicking the toggle button
  5. Restart Anki
  6. If the error still appears, the problem is in the enabled half. If not, it’s in the disabled half.
  7. Repeat this process, narrowing down which add-on or combination of add-ons is causing the issue

3. Update Add-ons

Sometimes errors occur because of outdated add-ons:

  1. In safe mode (hold shift while starting Anki)
  2. Go to ToolsAdd-onsCheck for Updates
  3. Restart Anki normally after updates are complete

4. Check Database

It’s also worth running the database check:

  1. Go to ToolsCheck Database

If you continue to have issues after trying these steps, please let us know which add-on was causing the problem, or if you need further assistance.
