My school has premade in-house anki decks that include a mix of cards specific to our lectures and anking cards. When making my own decks to study, I sort them by tag in my schools deck. However, since subscribing to Ankihub and getting the ankihub addon, every time I open anki and go to the tags of my schools deck, all of the in-house cards are missing and only the anking cards remain in the deck, so I have to redownload the inhouse deck to get lecture specific cards. Not sure what settings to change or how to fix this
Are you clicking upload to ankiweb or download from ankiweb?
AnkiHub cannot delete other cards from your deck, so if you press download from ankiweb when prompted, this might be causing the issue

Yes, I click upload to ankiweb, but I think I figured it out. I get a message when I open anki that says “ankihub has detected that the following decks have missing values” and I have been clicking yes where it says “do you want to fix this now?”. I clicked no and my in-house tags were not changed.
Edit: when I click no as mentioned above, I am missing some uworld cards in the v12 deck, so not sure what to do now
Please try resetting your local changes. To do this:
Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes
This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields
