I would love for the PANCE tags to get even more specific to each disorder that is being covered – other anking tags get specific to the disorder, but for PANCE tags they are really general. This can make it hard to tell if all of the topics I need to study are being covered under that tag’s umbrella and it takes longer to tailor the deck to my specific needs. E.g. if I can browse all the cards specifically covering peptic ulcer disease, I can take a quick look at which cards I don’t need (repetitive cards, info if I have already committed to memory, certain clozes that I cut to save time, etc.) and suspend those, and I can identify gaps in the deck for what I need to learn & supplement w/ my own cards. I know this is a big undertaking and I am happy to help by adding tags as I am studying these topics if it helps! Thanks for all of your hard work and for including PA students : )
Hi there. I’ve never used Anki before and I’m trying to set it up. I’m so lost on if I have the right settings and cards. I got the Anking(I think I unsuspended the PANCE tagged ones & it shows 9999, does that sound right?) and Endeavor Overhaul deck(199?). Do you have any reccs on the settings?
Hello,
Yes that sounds correct, but we don’t advise users to unsuspend all the cards at once. It’s better to either create custom filtered decks or only unsuspend a few batches of cards at a time
For the best settings, this video will cover everything: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uo-qQvOZDfg
Yes please more specific PANCE tags would be amazing! I love the cards but it is a struggle trying to figure out which cards to unsuspend! Even if there was a simpler way to search multiple tags at once (ex. click SketchyPharm → Anti nausea medications + PANCE tag.)
