Mrpankow, anking P/S, or both?

I have been using the mrpankow deck for P/S and the anking deck for everything else, and I recently found out that the mrpankow deck is integrated into the anking deck. What I had done initially was to delete the behavioral-related cards from the anking deck, and use mrpankow separately.

Today, I wanted to switch over to the anking deck for P/S as well, so I resynced my ankihub and downloaded the previously deleted P/S cards.

It seems as though some cards from the mrpankow deck have found their way into the anking deck (they somehow combined?). Additionally, I want to know what I should do moving forward:
(I am currently unsuspending cards as i do content review of the 300pg doc)

  1. only unsuspend the anking cards and delete the mrpankow deck. (this will include some of the combined cards)
  2. Unsuspend both the mrpankow deck and the anking P/S cards.
  • this may lead to some overlap, but through a quick visual inspection of both decks, I noticed that each deck has some cards that the other is missing.

Hello

The AnKing deck contains Pankow, and was incorporated by Mr. Pankow himself. Thus, the two are intrinsically linked

As it sounds like you’ve come to find, having had one and moved to the other is likely to have created a hodgepodge in your collection, unfortunately, as Anki handles this by largely overwriting the existing cards in place.

Hard to say. I haven’t used the original Pankow deck, and didn’t use the 300pg doc at all. I really only used the AnKing MCAT deck

The answer to this question, though, will largely hew based on how much either option adds to your workload, much time you have, goals, tolerances, a bunch of other things. Unfortunately I don’t know that I have enough context to give a confident answer, sorry to say. In all likelihood you’ll be the best judge of that based on your own circumstances.

Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.
