I upgraded from v11 to v12 via purchasing an ankihub subscription. I followed all of the steps to load v12 into my anki, however my v11 cards and v12 cards never consolidated. So, my v12 cards are all still unsuspended and completely brand new. The update doesn’t seem to have recognized the cards that I have already unlocked and completed using v11 for the past 1.5yrs and transferring them into the v12 format. Now I am left with a brand new v12 tagged deck with 29,691 cards with an existing v11 deck with 33,000+ cards. So it appears my v11 tagged cards were not updated to v12. Any suggestions or individuals who have experienced something similar? Any help is appreciated?
Can you let us know what steps you’ve taken so far?
Did you install the ankihub addon and subscribe through the website to the correct deck (the one with 34,000+ subscribers etc.)
Was the v11 deck from the reddit post im presuming?
If so then it should consolidate
Yes to all of the above. I did step by step installation from ankihub with the guidance of another experienced anki user who had a successful download and consolidation of v12.
Can you take screenshots of your main anki screen?
Also can you go through your v11 tag and search for “wikimedia commons”. Try to find any v11 card that has a wikimedia commons image in extra
Hi, I have reverted all my changes back to the time point in which I had never downloaded v12 sing the backup feature. I can redo all of the steps to install it and then reproduce the issue again? I have done this twice to see if I could start over but it did not work. Should I go ahead and re-download v12 and then send you the requested information?

I did a search and 3,415 are tagged wikimedia commons in the v11 tagged deck
Can you go to browse → tags → v11 tag → right click → delete
If you see wikimedia in v11 then that means the cards should have successfully consolidated
Then check the v12 tag to see if you still have the same amount of cards
Yes I can do this, but if I delete my v11 deck my only concern before I do this is why none of the v12 cards are unlocked? Unless this wont matter until I delete v11?
If you right click on the v11 tag and delete it. This wont delete any v11 cards, it will only delete the tag.
So only right click on the tag in browse, not the deck itself.
Ok I went ahead and did this. I am not sure that it solved the problem. My v12 deck still has the same 29,000 cards, but overall my number of step one cards is still a combined total of both v11 and v12 decks I believe around 58,000.

Yea its odd that you have 58K cards.
Try going to tools → empty cards → delete
Then do this
Please try resetting your local changes. To do this:
Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes
This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields
Let me know if anything changed (also you can also delete the v11 tag for step 2.
If not after the steps above, can you search up this card, if your deck is duplicated you should see two instances of this card, one without a image and one with.
Alright last thing, can you right click on both of those cards, go to info, and get the “note ID” number
@abdo.nh any reason why this could happen? Ive never seen this before, if the nid’s are the same they should merge and there would be no way to get 58K cards, unless im missing something

Maybe the note IDs are different for some reason.
@abanga Can you use AnkiHub > Help > Upload logs and data and let us know the filename shown?
I have strangely encountered this same issue. Any updates on if this was resolved? I am so far accepting the loss on tracked data. On my side, I still had ~3,000 tagged V11 and ~25K tagged V12.
